The premise is that it is the year 1298 in Northfeld which is on the Scottish-English border. King Edward I of England has put out a call for all English knights to rally forces against the Scottish. The Scottish under the leadership of William Wallace, acting Guardian of Scotland in the name of John Balliol (former King of the Scots). Begin Attacking cities all around Northfeld which is (unbeknown to Edward I), under treaty with the Clan Ferguson. Political tensions rise and open war in Northfeld between the English and Scottish seems inevitable.
We need English Knights, Free Company Knights, Scottish Knights and Nobles, horse sergeants, infantry on both sides, free persons on both sides, English Nobles, and basically anyone that can add a new dimension to the story. OH!, and horses too (just kidding).
Order related characters that are needed are:
Sir Lee Ferguson, Lieutenant of Northfeld
Lord Justus Leeter, Duke of Northumberland
King Edward I of England
Sir Henry Bale, former Lord of Baleburgh
Sir Thomas Bale, Henry's son
Lord Merik MacMarium, Duke of Noceithirloch
Sir Conway Ferguson, Lord of Gawain's Hold
Robert the Bruce
William Wallace
Sir John Balliol, former King of Scotland (In whose name Wallace acts)
ONLY THE ACTUAL ORDER MEMBERS MY PORTRAY THEMSELVES.

I take it this is a bid to enter your character into this role play. ACCEPTED. To help move this along i will also take the part of King Edward. If I want to start a portrayal of him, I guess this would be the chance to practice.

This is the re-built off topic forum for the roleplay "Northfeld 1298". A few of us got a little involved ;D, and just dove right on in. This is re built for us to discuss things that are going to shape the story and to allow others that wish to join in the chance to work in their characters at a good time. The cast thus far is Brother Reynald, see the OC Info thread for his details. (Sir Clive) Sir Didymous, whose particulars can be found here: www.orderoftherouseclan.org/Sir-Didymous-LaRoth-s-Info.htmlSir Wulfscyld, who has is info here: www.orderoftherouseclan.org/Sir-Wulfscyld-Garmund-s-info.htmlAnd just recently Dame Latitia has expressed her desire to chime in. www.orderoftherouseclan.org/Lady-Latitia-LaRoth-s-Info.htmlOther Characters so far are Brother Hanno, a fellow knight of the temple with Reynald (Given life By Sir Clive) And King Edward I (Sir Didymous). Any other characters that could be conveniently used are in the original post and have been included after this. If you would like to take on the role of one of these characters, just put in your bid here.

I was going to dive in on this one since my persona has been mentioned. I was just going to write a letter to Didymous.

In order to continue this story, I will be writing a letter to Sir John, and a Letter to Brother Reynald explaining their parts in a stratagy being put together. I will also be posting the a brief visit to Dame Latitia from her husband. Rated G I assure you. If anyone is planning any plot twists, please give a heads up. I don't want to spoil them, so don't be too detailed, but I also don't wish to mess them up either. Sir Clive, I think I show give you the honor of determining the numbers and types of men provided by the King.

Many thanks my noble Earl. It is indeed an honour. I am currently giving what assistance I can to Sir Wulfscyld at Tweed castle, but will presently be advancing to Saint Swithbert. I shall be leaving one of my Templar Sergeant-Brothers behind at Tweed because he also happens to be an Infirmarer-Brother, and he will tend to Sir Wulfscyld's wounded. I am currently working on my own muster, detailing the compostion of each lance supplied by the vassal knights of the Temple in addition to the full Templar brethren with me.
