One of the things I found is that the norway's king Magnus VI gave the isles to scotland in 1266

A nother thing I found but still need more info on is the gov structure they have one the isles itis called Tynwald Parliament.

This is somewhat interesting. Can you tell us more about the Treaty of Perth?

It was when king magnus VI of norway ceded the islands, including the isle of man in consideration of the sum of 4000 marks (aka "merks" in scotland) and an qnnuity of 100 marks.
