If you have questions with no real answer, chime in.
Have you ever wondered why there is no Caucasian Heritage celebrations? Not for the purpose of supremacy or anything stupid like that, but in the interest of equal rights. There is a heritage celebration for most other races... So why not?

Actually, Columbus was Spanish, and what I am asking about isn't just a day to celebrate a person or select few people. I'm asking about a time to celebrate people and cultures from Northern European decent. There are black and hispanic heritage months, so why not Asian and Anglo? As I see it fair is fair, though Black heritage month is Febuary and thus only 28 days.

Look, this isn't about holidays celebrating specific people or events. This is about celebrating heritage/ ethnicity. Those of say, Hispanic ethnicity have a month (Sept. 15- Oct 15) in which to celebrate their heritage. As they should, there is a lot worth celebrating. But those of us of Anglo decent don't get even a day. Granted there are local national heritage festivals and such, like Highland Days, and Octoberfest (usually with a German/ Swiss theme). But there are no days for those who have a mixed Caucasian decent. My family on my father's side goes all the way back to the Saxons of England, as do many families. When is it my time to celebrate a shared ethnicity with the Beowulf poet or the author of "The Pearl" (The medieval one not the Stinebeck). I am for equality and pride in one's heritage, that's all.
